Jimmy -Oba Ade, to be ordained General Overseer: Father's Church

Barely forty days after the public announcement of the demised of the late Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, the church and her management has announced his son, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya who acted as Oba Ade in the 2022 "The Woman King", will be ordained to replace his father as the head and General Overseer on September 30, 2023.

The Management and Board of Trustees of the Church made this announcement on Sunday, during the Church Service. The board stated that Pastor Taiwo Odukoya confirmed the succession plan to three different people on the Board before the late Pastor passed away.

Jimmy Odukoya is a Nigerian actor and will be Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church. He played the role of Oba Ade in the 2022 movie "The Woman King" alongside Viola Davis and John Boyega. He is the first son and second child of late pastors Bimbo Odukoya and Taiwo Odukoya. Jimmy got his first degree at Oral Roberts University, United States (US).

The spiritual mentor of the late Odukoya, Bishop Mike Okonkwo will perform the ordination of Jimmy formally which will take place on September 30th, 2023

    May God give Jimmy the enablement to lead the church in a good way. It's not by strength nor by might says the Lord.
