Kidney Harvested as Agbadu Lure A Teen from Benue to Abuja

Mr Aondoaseer Agbadu who is in his  20s, has been remanded at the Federal Maximum Correctional Centre in Makurdi, Benue State, after luring Terungwa Swati, a 17 years old boy to Abuja and harvested his kidney organ.

Reports was gathered that, the convict, Agbadu tricked and lured his victim  to Abuja in April 2023 and was without his consent neither his relatives and was operated and one of his kidneys got harvested by specialists.

Consequently, the prosecutor named Inspector Godwin Ato informed the honourable court that Agbadu and his allies, sold the kidney organ to another person, though still on the run.

During the interrogation and the case was listed on August 27. Inspector Ato informed the court that, Alexander Swati, who lives at the location directly to the Benue Internal Revenue Service office in Aliade, the headquarters of Gwer East local government area, was said to have reported the case at the Police Station.

Lately the case was carried over from the Divisional Police Headquarters in Aliade to the Benue State Criminal Investigation Department, Makurdi lettered on 30th August; NO.AR:3100/BNS/AL/VOL.4/258.

The Chief Magistrate, Mr Taribo Atta, adjourned the case till October 23, 2023 for progressive listing.

Agbadu case contravened Sections 27 and 20 (1) (2) and (3) of the Trafficking in persons (Prohibition) Enforcement and Administration Act, 2015.
