Ladi Ochai Has Been Arrested by Police

A controversial APC supporter from Ado Local Government Area of Benue State has been arrested and detained in a secret Police custody.

This barely comes after the celebration of Ujor New Yam Festival held at the weekend in the Local Government Area where almost all sons and daughters of Ado came together to the year celebration. The festival usually attracts dignitaries from all works of life and many are said to have been invited and graced the occasion.

It is noted that, Ladi Ochai was amongst those that opposed the outing of a Prince who was paraded around the town of Ado down to the festival ground like a King himself.

The outing generated heats where Ladi was said to be threatened by the supporters of the said Prince. 

In response to the threat, Ladi took to her Facebook page on Monday calling on the public to come to her help should anything happens to her life.

Her post on the Blue App read: 'I'm using this platform to let the public know should in case anything happens to me and my children in any where and any time, Adai Pius and his sender should be responsible for it. The chief and his council of elders sent me and delivered the message perfectly. I have not done anything wrong to warrant threat on my life. So I want the public to take note",  she posted.
