MohBad's Death : Sam Larry Got Arrested by Police

The Nigeria Police, Lagos State Command has confirmed and assured the general public and fans of Mohbad that Sam Larry who is originally known as Balogun Eletu is been arrested and now kept in its custody as they continue the investigation and probe of Mohbad’s death.

Sam Larry and Naira Marley has been the major suspect linked to the death of the Afrobeat Star, Mohbad since he passed out.

The fans and the public continue to protest both online and offline and has drawn the attention of the the authorities towards Sam Larry because of his previous and some old social media posts by Mohbad which the fans hold on to.

On Thursday, the Nigerian Police through the agency's Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin informed the public through his X account (former Twitter).

In the viral post through the X account, he stated, "Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with ongoing investigation,".

Consequently, Naira Marley has earlier assured the public also that he was willing to fly back to Nigeria for further investigation.

In the statement released earlier by Naira Marley, he stated with few paragraphs on Tuesday, that all manner of stories had been peddled against him in respect to the death of Afrobeat star, MohBad.

Mohbad former boss, Naira Marley said, "I’m dedicated to proving my innocence and I’m cooperating with the authorities to clear my name with sufficient evidence." 

It is unknown to the public yet, how and in what manner Sam Larry was arrested but there are some speculation that he was picked immediately he arrived at the Airport by Police.

The Nigeria Police continue her investigation into the death of the 27 years late singer last week with an autopsy on the disease as they pledge to do justice to his death and to thoroughly probe the the reasons that lead to the circumstances without delay.
