Mr. Sunday Burnt Alive in Otukpo for Child Theft

A suspected child trafficker was reported set ablaze in Eupi Otukpo main town by angry mob over a missing child on Sunday.

It is reported that the suspect who is in his early fifty known as Mr. Sunday in the wake hours of Sunday clashed with angry mob over some missing children.

Mr. Sunday was said to be specializes in child trafficking whose victims are often trades to the sum of N500k and N600k respectively for each victim to his business partners.

From the post going viral on social media especially Facebook and X (Twitter) accounts, the maladious event took place around Enugu road, Eupi of Otukpo main town when a child was reported missing on Saturday.

Before the ugly event, Mr. Sunday was said to have done with his deal when he was seen carrying the child on his okada (motorcycle) in a rush to an unknown destination on Saturday which became bad for him on Sunday morning after it was discovered that he (Mr. Sunday) took the child and might have sold him to his customer as his family have runed for safety to unknown destination earlier before angry youths stormed his house on his directive.

Till this reports is filed, the family of Mr. Sunday were caught at a motorpark on their way out of the town after the husband was burnt alive. The Nigeria Police, Area Command Otukpo took over them for further investigation to the incident.

It is also rumoured that about three children are yet to be found as neighbors have being in search of them for almost six months now.

Money worth about N2.5 Million was also uncovered in the suspect account as the family admitted that the contacts of Mr. Sunday's business partners were secretly kept under their bed spot which was reportedly set ablaze including his property by the youths.
