Total Darkness in Nigeria As National Grid Breakdown

Nigerians are to experience power outage after the national electricity grid have been reportedly breakdown report says on Thursday.
The development was confirmed when some electricity distribution companies issued statement via their media early Thursday.
The grid breakdown has resulted in a total loss of supply to power distributors in the nation.
From the Head of Corporate Communications, Enugu Electricity Distribution Company Plc, Emeka Ezeh through his X (Formerly Twitter) account, Mr. Eze in a publication which read; "The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) wishes to inform her esteemed customers of a total system collapse which occurred at 12:40am today, 14th September,2023. This has resulted in the loss of supply currently being experienced across the network.
Due to this development, all our interface TCN stations are out of supply, and we are unable to provide service to our customers in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States.
We are on standby awaiting detailed information of the collapse and restoration of supply from the National Control Centre (NCC), Osogbo", Eze landed.
Another notice was also issued from the popular Eko Electricity Distribution Company to her esteemed customers on same medium, the X account to confirmed the breakdown.
It is noted that, since September 2022, this is the first notable power grid breakdown making the occurrence a complete year for the nation to experience such in the Power Sector haven't gotten a positive response from the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) that the power grid has been consistently on the run and uninterrupted for complete 400 days in service, a good remarks many have noticed.
It is expected from the service providers to restore the outage as many Nigerian yearns for improvement in this present administration.
