United Arab Emirates (UAE) has lifted Visa Ban on Nigerian

The long awaited Visa ban on Nigerian travelers to United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been lifted following a historic agreement between President Bola Tinubu and the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
It is worthy of notes that, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) had in October 2022 banned many countries of the world and 20 African nations which included Nigeria from entering Dubai, its Capital City.
According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale on Monday 11th August. Both Etihad Airlines and Emirates Airlines are now to immediately resume flight schedules into and out of Nigeria, Ajuri stated.
Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu who had a meeting with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday, the Nigerians President in view of his economic development diplomacy drive, presented a proposals to his counterpart, which depicted his framework and plans of his policies to prove Nigerias might as giant of Africa.
Subsequently, an agreed framework has been established between the two nations that involves several billions of U.S. dollars worth of new investments into the Nigerian economy across several sectors, which includes defense, agriculture and others.
The negotiation between the two Presidents for the restoration of flight activities does not involve any immediate payment by the Nigerian government, Ajuri added.
President Tinubu commended the UAE President, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for his unreserved good-will and his resoluted work to unite with him to completely standardized to perfection the relationship between the two nations.
